How MatraMeds uses cookies and similar technologies
This Cookie Notice explains how MatraMeds uses cookies and similar technologies on its current pre-launch website at https://matrameds.com.
Important
For more information about how MatraMeds processes personal data, please see the Privacy Notice.
1.What this Notice Covers
This Cookie Notice explains how MatraMeds uses cookies and similar technologies on the MatraMeds Website at https://matrameds.com.
For more information about how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
2.What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, tags, pixels, scripts, or other identifiers used to recognise devices, understand website performance, remember preferences, or support analytics.
3.How We Use Cookies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- ensure the Website functions properly;
- remember settings and user preferences (including, where applicable, your HCP self-declaration for a session);
- support security and fraud prevention;
- maintain session continuity;
- understand how the Website is used;
- improve performance and content.
4.Categories of Cookies We May Use
Depending on the Website configuration, we may use:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for core website functions, security, form handling, navigation, or session management.
Functional Cookies
These help remember preferences and enhanced features (for example, your HCP self-declaration for a session, where such functionality is in use).
Analytics / Performance Cookies
These help us understand usage patterns, measure performance, and improve the Website (where enabled and consented to).
Marketing Cookies
MatraMeds does not currently use marketing, advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. If we introduce any such cookie, this Notice will be updated and your consent will be sought before any such cookie is deployed.

5.1. Other Similar Technologies
The Website currently uses Google Fonts (delivered from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not typically set cookies on the user's browser, but the act of loading the font transmits your IP address to Google. MatraMeds is reviewing whether to self-host typography to remove this third-party call. If MatraMeds moves to self-hosted fonts, this Notice will be updated accordingly.
6.Consent and Controls
Where the Website uses non-essential cookies or similar technologies requiring user choice, MatraMeds will implement an appropriate cookie banner and preference tool before such technologies are enabled, if not already in place.
Where a cookie preference tool is made available, you may change your preferences through the relevant Website control. Until then, you may manage cookies through your browser settings, subject to Website functionality limitations.
You may also control cookies through your browser settings or device settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Website from functioning correctly.
7.Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookies or similar technologies may involve processing of personal data, such as IP addresses, identifiers, browser data, or behavioural information. Where that occurs, the Privacy Notice also applies.
8.Third-Party Services
If the Website uses third-party tools, plugins, embedded content, analytics, maps, videos, or form services, those providers may set cookies or process data in accordance with their own policies. MatraMeds does not control third-party cookies. The current third-party services are disclosed in Section 5 of this Notice.
9.Updates to this Cookie Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, Website configuration, or business needs. The latest version will be posted on the Website.
When MatraMeds launches its companion application or HCP portal, separate cookie / similar-technology disclosures will be issued for those services.
10.Contact
For questions about this Cookie Notice, contact Grievance Officer as named in the Privacy Notice, or email privacy@matrameds.com.
